Dr. Amanda Hickman
OPTOMETRIST
Dr. Hickman earned her Bachelor’s Degree in biology from the University of New Orleans in 2006. She earned her Doctor of Optometry Degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN in 2010 where she received extensive training in ocular disease, primary eyecare, pediatric eye care, specialty contact lenses, vision therapy and surgical co-management.
She is a past president of the Optometric Association of Louisiana and is a member of the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Hickman was awarded Louisiana's Young Optometrist of the Year for 2017 and Optometrist of the Year for 2022 by the Optometric Association of Louisiana.
She enjoys being active in the local community, and has been the clinical director and coordinator for Special Olympics Louisiana Opening Eyes program since 2012. Which provides free eye assessments, prescription eyewear, sunglasses and sports goggles to athletes with intellectual disabilities.
Dr. Anna Olivier
OPTOMETRIST
Dr. Olivier was born and raised in Slidell, LA, where she earned her high school diploma from Northshore High School. She then went on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2018.

Dr. Olivier further pursued her professional education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry where she earned her doctorate in Optometry in 2023.
​
Dr. Olivier offers comprehensive eye care to both children and adults. She has extensive training in primary eye care, ocular disease, emergency eye care, pediatric optometry, contact lenses, and surgical co-management.
​
She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Optometry Association of Louisiana.
​
In her free time, Dr. Olivier loves to cook, travel, and spend time with her husband and family.
